If you are tipping the scale a little too far from your liking lately then you should probably start learning more about Fat Loss. Fat loss is almost the same as weight loss but no quite the same. Weight loss can simply be the process of lowering one's weight. However, what some people don't know is that sometimes a person's weight is not all fat. There is this thing called water weight that causes an addition to your mass.
Water weight is caused by water retention in your body. This is a sign that there is too little or too much of something in your body. In other words, you do not have a balanced diet. This causes the body to stock up on water. For example, if you take in too much sodium (more popularly known as salt) the body stocks up on a lot of water to flush it out. If you consume lots of salt everyday (think French fries) and do not drink enough water your body absorbs every little drop of the small quantity of water that you do drink and preserves it long enough until the next time you decide to drink water again. This is the body's natural reaction to dehydration.
Fat loss on the other hand is more on removing the fat (not including water weight) so that the muscles will be more prominent in the body. The muscles make sure that excess fat will be burnt. But they can't do that if they are outnumbered by fat. So a lot of Fat Loss programs are being created nowadays to maximize the body's resources for it to flush out unwanted fat.
If you have a lot of fat in your body, plus a lot of water weight, there is one discipline that needs to be incorporated in your diet. You need to hydrate and drink a lot of water. Do this and you'll eventually lose your water weight and then you can move on to reducing your fat. Of course you need to exercise. Exercise makes the muscle strong. And your muscles when used a lot will result to burning of the fat surrounding the muscle. The more you flex your muscles the more powerful it becomes in burning the fat around it.
If you want to lose fat effectively do it on a full stomach. Never ever starve yourself and deprive your body of nutrients. The trick is to eat healthy and not go hungry deliberately. Not only will starving make you go crazy with cravings, your body will also preserve the food you eat long enough until you eat again (this is similar to the water retention concept). That is why any form of crash diet is never suggested by any sane medical professional. It distorts the body's natural way of operating. If you wish to lose fat, eat healthy, live healthy and start moving. These are the basic things you need to know and the most effective as well.
Getting your ideal weight and form doesn't happen in a day. Sometimes it even takes years. But if you wish to live long healthy days ahead of you, then you need to start engaging yourself in a reliable and safe Fat Loss program as soon as possible.
